Headed to CT this month! January 5, 2010

So in case you haven’t heard. We are headed to CT and will be living there by the end of January! So exciting as we will be close to family and I will get to play with my cousins more often. Nana and Grandpa came to NJ to visit for Christmas and Faith, along with Uncle Jay, Auntie Sara and Pop-Pop, came to visit for New Years! Faith and I dressed the same and I had a lot of fun! We are getting ready to leave for Turks and Caicos later this week and I cannot wait to see the Sesame Street characters…I am sure we will have lots of fun pictures to share when that time comes. Daddy will be covering a new territory with work, which is what brings us to CT and mommy will be staying home with me and taking a break from work. Although, I may go to school a couple days a week to make new friends and learn lots of cool things, I sure am excited about all the changes and getting settled in a new place. I am sure Jackpot is excited too…he is already in CT and staying with Pop-Pop until we get back from vacation and then get packed up to move.

I have been growing so fast and am already 14 months old! I think I will start walking soon if I can just stop being so scared to just do it! I had my first trip to the beach and was scared of the sand (mommy can’t find the camera to upload the pictures right now). I also start swimming classes soon- so stay tuned for more pictures! Check out the pictures of Auntie-Auntie Sara, Grandpa and Brittany (she used to babysit me in Denver and came to visit in NJ). There are also pictures with mommy, daddy and Jackpot!

My 1st Birthday!! May 3, 2009

I had a very fun birthday party with lots of family. I was so busy all day that I slept until 8:30am the next morning! The day after my birthday mommy took me to the Turtle Back Zoo here in Livingston, NJ and I went on my first carousal ride (of course mommy was holding me).  At night, I was in bed and fast asleep by 6:30pm. Living in New Jersey! April 14, 2009

So, if you haven’t heard…my mommy and daddy moved me (and Jackpot) back east in February. We are now in Livingston, New Jersey! I am not too sure about this place but I know it is closer to family in CT and that makes us all happy! My very 1st Easter was with past Sunday and although we didn’t do much, I did get to wear I really pretty dress and play with my Easter basket I got from Miss Cathy at school. Oh, I am at The Goddard School here in New Jersey. It is the same school I went to in Colorado and it is lots of fun! Now that we are getting finally getting settled here I will be able to share my thoughts more often. By the way, I am not completely crawling yet but I get to where I need to by dragging my legs behind and scooting and rolling around the room. I think I may just skip crawling (it’s over-rated) and go straight to walking! Plus, rolling is so much more fun!  I hope everyone is doing well…lots of love to all! Enjoy my pictures…April showers bring May showers…and MY VERY 1st BIRTHDAY!!! Yay!!!! It is going to be so exciting!! 

Friendly’s Ice Cream December 14, 2008

I can’t wait until I get bigger so I can eat Friendly’s ice cream like Uncle Jay and Auntie Sarah…for now I get to lick the lid…not that there was anything on it but it was still fun! 

Grandmomma Furman December 3, 2008

My Grandma Furman didn’t get a chance to see me for Thanksgiving when we visited. I’m glad I did get a chance to meet her though. She loved me very much and I remember when she visited Denver… when we played with jewelry and went to the park the last time I was in Connecticut.

I’ll miss her just like my parents. Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Jay and Grandpa Furman all made sure I got a chance to see other family and friends that loved her as much as we did.

5 months old! October 4, 2008

This week I turned 5 months! I don’t feel any different but I am told each day that I am “so cute”! Maybe I get cuter the older I get…who knows!? I have been trying to eat cereal and food (Gerber Organic Bananas) but I haven’t completely got the hang of it yet. I did go swimming last weekend and had lots of fun in the pool. I held tight onto mommy and we played in the water. I think mommy is going to start sending rice cereal to school (daycare) with me. One more exciting thing for me (and mommy)…I now take the bottle really well, even from mommy! I think I like the Avent bottles better than the Playtex Drop-ins. Day Care September 28, 2008

Well mommy has gone back to work but I have a new place to hang out during the day. I had my first day at The Goddard School September 2nd and I go 4 days a week. Of course the ‘rents were sad when they first dropped me off but they know that I have fun and am in good hands.

I have my own crib and get to roll on the mats, have story time and swing. Sure I miss mommy and daddy but I know that this will help me become a big girl. Ms. Terri and Ms. Mary take good care of me but it’s great to see daddy at the end of the day.

I love my doggie! September 8, 2008

As you can imagine, my arrival was a big adjustment for Jackpot (since he was the baby of the house…before May 2nd) but now we are the best of friends! He hears me cough, cry or make any type of noise for that matter and he comes to check on me. He is sometimes sound asleep! He really cares- either that or he is super nosey…I like to believe he cares! The other night I was sitting on daddy’s lap watching football and Jackpot (who’s not allowed on the living room furniture) jumped up to join us (he must have felt left out). I got to pet him, hug him and at one point- tug on his ear. After all that…he jumped off the couch and went about his business BUT when he heard me fuss from another room- he came back to check on me- I love my doggie!     

three months August 11, 2008

On August 2nd I turned three months old…I can’t believe it’s been that long.  My mommy says she can’t imagine life without me, so I guess that means she is happy I am here! I started to fuss a lot less- I think three months was my turning point as well as when I met Grand-daddy. He hadn’t seen me in person yet and boy was he in for a surprise!

He had so much fun while hanging out in Denver keeping mommy and I company while my daddy was away- he went to a survival course (in Boulder, Utah) called Boss. I talked to grand-daddy everyday and when he looked at me I laughed…unless he was trying to give me the bottle (that’s a whole different story). Mommy and I missed daddy a whole lot but we kept each other company and hung out all day long!

Another exciting thing happened when I turned three months- mommy gave me some rice cereal to try and boy was it yummy…I can’t wait to eat more food…as you could tell by the picture! When daddy came home you’d think he was gone longer than a week- he saw a picture of me and said- “she’s eating cereal now?”…yes, daddy- I’m growing each day and as mommy says, sometimes too fast!

Guess what? Next week I leave with mommy and daddy to go to CT…my first time on an airplane- I am SO excited! Until next time, xoxo
