Grandmomma Furman December 3, 2008

Filed under: My Thoughts — Maylia @ 12:32 am

My Grandma Furman didn’t get a chance to see me for Thanksgiving when we visited. I’m glad I did get a chance to meet her though. She loved me very much and I remember when she visited Denver… when we played with jewelry and went to the park the last time I was in Connecticut.

I’ll miss her just like my parents. Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Jay and Grandpa Furman all made sure I got a chance to see other family and friends that loved her as much as we did.

Mrs. Furman was a great lady, I spoke to her over the telephone about Felicia being my God send at a time in my life when I had been operated on for a total hysterectomy. Felicia was always there for me telling me that I was not defined as a woman for having reproductive organs. But that I was still a female and very feminine. God bless you Mrs. Furman for giving all of us Felicia. Thank You so much for your kind words also.

You went home, sorry I miss you lots.

Maylia - your Grandmomma had been a part of my life for over 10 years, and She taught us numerous Invaluable lessons. She was always using great quotes, one was “LIVE, LAUGH, & LOVE” True lessons of life, and “Enjoy this very day” She always knew how to be in the now, and focus on what is, not what was. Her positive outlook on everything was so inspirational. You brought your Grandmomma SUCH peace over the past several months, its as if nothing else mattered but you, you were the “Sparkle” in her eye.
